Redhive Ltd is an established consultancy business entering an exciting phase of growth and diversification. Alongside continuing to provide its existing consultancy services, the company is expanding into a new venture designed to generate sustainable revenue streams and support long-term commercial growth.
As the business develops, increasing demands are being placed on business development, marketing, supplier engagement, lead management, outreach activities, and client onboarding processes. To support these growth objectives, Redhive Ltd is seeking a proactive and commercially focused Business Development Executive to strengthen its business development and client relationship functions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and managing new business opportunities, building supplier and client relationships, coordinating outreach activities, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients and partners. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to contribute directly to the growth and success of both Redhive Ltd's established consultancy services and its new venture.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients, partners, and commercial opportunities.
Generate and manage leads through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns, digital outreach, and direct engagement activities.
Maintain and manage accurate lead pipelines using CRM systems and internal tracking tools.
Conduct market research to identify new sectors, target clients, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Support the preparation of business proposals, capability statements, presentations, and tender responses.
Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities to support revenue growth objectives.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide recommendations to management.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Act as a key contact during the client acquisition and onboarding process.
Coordinate meetings, follow-up activities, and communication with clients throughout the sales cycle.
Ensure a positive and professional client experience at all stages of engagement.
Work proactively to identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
Maintain accurate records of all client communications, activities, and opportunities.
Supplier & Partner Relationship Management
Identify and engage with suppliers, strategic partners, and external stakeholders that support the company's consultancy and new venture activities.
Build and maintain productive supplier and business partner relationships.
Assist with supplier evaluations, onboarding, and relationship management processes.
Support discussions, negotiations, and ongoing engagement with suppliers and commercial partners.
Ensure supplier relationships align with business objectives and operational requirements.
Maintain supplier databases and relationship records.
Marketing & Outreach Support
Support the planning and execution of business development and marketing campaigns.
Coordinate email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and other communication activities with prospective clients and partners.
Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, newsletters, and promotional content.
Maintain marketing databases and prospect contact lists.
Track outreach performance and provide reports on campaign effectiveness and lead generation outcomes.
Support initiatives to promote Redhive Ltd's consultancy services and new venture offerings.
Client Onboarding & Business Support
Coordinate onboarding activities for new clients, suppliers, and partners.
Ensure all onboarding documentation and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to active client.
Assist in the continuous improvement of business development, onboarding, and customer relationship processes.
Prepare regular reports on pipeline performance, lead activity, client onboarding, and business development outcomes.
Provide general administrative support to business development and marketing functions as required.
Reporting & Performance Management
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales activity logs, and business development metrics.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on lead generation, conversion rates, outreach activities, and relationship management outcomes.
Monitor performance against agreed business development objectives and KPIs.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend actions to improve efficiency and results.
Person Specification
Essential
Minimum 2 years' experience in a business development, sales, marketing, account management, customer success, or client relationship role.
Demonstrable experience generating and managing business opportunities and client relationships.
Strong understanding of lead generation, pipeline management, and sales support processes.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate business records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of business growth principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Desirable
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Management, or a related discipline.
Experience working within consultancy, professional services, start-up, or growth-stage business environments.
Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent.
Experience supporting client onboarding and customer success activities.
Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, lead nurturing, and marketing automation tools.
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar business development platforms.
Familiarity with proposal preparation, tender submissions, and commercial documentation.

Terms & Conditions
Salary: 36,000 - 42,000 per annum
Holiday: 28 days per annum including bank holidays
Pension: Auto-enrolment in accordance with statutory requirements
Notice Period: One month (following successful completion of probationary period)
Probationary Period: Six months
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (or as agreed within employment contract)
