A well-established motor dealership in Durban is seeking a qualified and experienced Diagnostic Technician to join its professional workshop team.

The successful candidate must possess excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities, strong technical knowledge and experience working within a recognised motor dealership.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and software.
Complete accurate diagnostic reports and job cards.
Conduct quality checks and road tests when required.
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and dealership standards.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Provide technical support to other workshop employees when required.

Minimum Requirements
Qualified Motor Mechanic with a recognised Trade Test Certificate.
Proven experience working as a Diagnostic Technician within a motor dealership.
Strong mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostic skills.
Experience using modern diagnostic equipment and systems.
Valid South African driver’s licence.
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
Must reside in Durban or the surrounding area.

Salary and Benefits
Basic salary: R19 000 R25 000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
