Krugersdorp, West Rand: LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR
Minimum Non-Negotiable Requirements:
-Reliable and professional individual, with strong English proficiency
-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management a must
-3 to 5 years recent logistics experience a must, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role a must (Non-Negotiable Key requirement)
-Experienced in managing fleet, overseeing all loading operations and coordinating suppliers
-Proficient in logistics software (e.g. SAP, WMS, TMS, MS Excel etc.), with sound knowledge of local logistics regulations
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-Stable employment record and contactable References
-Must reside in / near Krugersdorp (within daily commuting distance)
-No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non-performance
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Manage daily supply chain operations and inbound/outbound logistics, optimise vehicle fleet and enforcing safety protocols for company based at Mogale Mine
-Oversee and optimize company’s transport operations across all logistics services
-Supervise & coordinate daily dispatch and transportation operations, manage yard
-Schedule, monitor and track loads to ensure timely deliveries and turn-around times
-Coordinate suppliers and oversee all loading operations
-Oversee management of fleet and office administrative operations
-Transportation & Fleet Management (coordinate deliver, scheduling loading & offloading across operations, manage driver teams and track vehicles)
-Compliance & Safety (Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, Health & Safety requirements, manage documentation commercial invoices/POD’s etc.)
-KPI Management & Optimization (monitor logistics performance metrics to drive cost savings, efficiency & continuous improvement)
-Mentor & supervise logistic staff, including driver’s loaders & coordinators
-Manage washing & cleaning of company fleet weekly
Salary: R 25 000.00 R 30 000.00 gross (depending on experience)
