We’re Hiring: Academic Counselor

Location: Salt Lake, Sector V, Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Responsibilities:

Guide students in selecting suitable IT courses based on their interests, aptitude, and career goals
Provide detailed information about courses, fees, duration, and career opportunities
Assess student aptitude and recommend appropriate training programs
Address student queries related to academics and career guidance
Collaborate with trainers and faculty to stay updated on curriculum and schedules.
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and follow-ups
Support admission and enrollment processes for prospective students
Stay updated on IT industry trends and job market requirements
Utilize CRM tools to manage student data and track interactions
What We’re Looking For:

Graduate in any discipline (BBA preferred Sales/Marketing/IT Management)
Degree in Education, Psychology, IT, or related field is a plus Prior experience in academic counseling or student support preferred
Basic understanding of IT courses and career pathways
Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic, patient, and student-focused approach
Strong team collaboration and coordination skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and student needs
Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive attitude.
