About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to support our people and leaders across the employee lifecycle. In this role, you'll partner with managers and employees to deliver practical HR solutions, foster an inclusive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation while supporting business growth and organisational success.

Key Responsibilities
Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on workplace matters.
Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and talent acquisition activities.
Assist with performance management, employee development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
Interpret and apply Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies.
Partner with business leaders to support organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
Coordinate learning and development programs and employee engagement activities.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Support payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR administration processes.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and compliance documentation.
Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, wellbeing, and workplace health and safety initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies, systems, and processes.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Experience in human resources, employee relations, or HR advisory roles.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, and HR best practices.
Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational, analytical, and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Membership with the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) or working towards certification.
Experience supporting engineering, consulting, construction, or professional services organisations.
Experience with organisational development and change management.
Knowledge of HR analytics and workforce planning.
Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
