About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team and help deliver some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver engineering solutions that improve communities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver civil engineering solutions for transport, water, buildings, energy, and infrastructure projects.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and design documentation.
Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
Review project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management activities.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and clients throughout project delivery.
Monitor construction activities and provide technical guidance during implementation.
Identify opportunities to improve designs and promote sustainable engineering practices.
Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, environmental regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Assist with tender submissions, technical proposals, and client presentations.
Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in civil engineering design, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of Australian Standards, engineering principles, and construction practices.
Proficiency in engineering design software and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainable engineering outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards chartership.
Membership with Engineers Australia.
Experience delivering transport, water, defence, buildings, or major infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies.
Project management or contract administration experience.
