Freehearts Africa Reach Out Foundation (FAROF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through innovative programmes in nutrition, health, climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, youth and women empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods.
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and highly motivated Volunteer Communications Officer to join our growing team and help amplify the impact of our work across communities.

Key Responsibilities
The Volunteer Communications Officer will support the Communications Unit by:
• Developing engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
• Designing graphics, flyers, banners, and awareness materials.
• Capturing photographs and videos during project activities.
• Writing success stories, press releases, blogs, and project updates.
• Supporting website and social media management.
• Assisting with documentation of trainings, workshops, and community activities.
• Supporting digital campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
• Performing other communications-related assignments as required.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
• A Bachelor's Degree or HND in:
o Mass Communication
o Computer Science
o Information Technology
o Computer Engineering
o Cyber Security
o Graphic Design
o Public Relations
o Marketing
o English
o Any related discipline

Desired Skills
Applicants with experience in any of the following will have an added advantage:
• Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or CorelDRAW
• Photography and Videography
• Video Editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Filmora, etc.)
• Social Media Management
• Content Writing
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic Website Management
• Digital Marketing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
