Nieuw Muckleneuk, Pretoria: TEMP JUNIOR CONVEYANCING TRANSFERS SECRETARY
Duration: 3 months contract
Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable and fully bilingual female, with strong English proficiency
-Matric / Grade 12
-Minimum 2 years recent work experience as a Conveyancing Transfers Secretary at a law firm, independently handling property transfers from instruction to registration a must
-Proper understanding and sound knowledge of Conveyancing and Bank Procedures, documentation, and requirements
-Computer literate in relevant legal software e.g. Stordoc etc. (Lexpro / Caselines experience advantageous)
-Meticulous and attention to detail, with strong telephone etiquette and people skills
-Contactable employment references
-Must be able to commence immediately
Duration: Temporary position only for 3 months duration.
Duties:
-Independently attend to property Transfers for law firm, from receipt of instruction to registration
-Drafting of relevant legal Transfer documentation
-Liaison with banks, municipalities, clients, Deeds Office and other law firms
-Compile pro forma statements and final accounts
-Obtain Rates clearance certificates and SARS transfer duty receipts
-General conveyancing secretarial duties
Salary: R 10 000.00 R 15 000.00 gross maximum
