Sales Representative (Industrial Products)

Location: 4 David Road, Wetherill Park, NSW- 2164
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $79,499 per annum plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities
• Promote and sell engineering plastic products and industrial solutions to existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and site visits.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads within target industries.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and product recommendations tailored to customer requirements.
• Research and identify potential customers and develop strategies to expand the company's market presence and sales revenue.
• Negotiate pricing, sales terms and contracts with customers.
• Provide technical product information and advice regarding industrial plastic applications.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports and forecasting information using CRM and business systems.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events and networking activities to promote company products and services.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales growth objectives of the business.

Skills and Experience
• Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• More than one year of relevant experience in industrial products sales, engineering plastics, manufacturing products, technical sales, or a related industry
• Strong customer relationship management and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in quotation management, proposal development, BOQ preparation, and order processing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, estimation, and production departments.
• Experience supporting enterprise clients and delivering customer-focused technical solutions.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and customer requirements.
• Experience using ERP, CRM, quotation and order management systems. Exposure to systems such as Accentis, Epicor or similar platforms will be highly regarded.
