Job Description
Shri Shiva Mandir Ltd is seeking experienced Stonemasons to assist with the 3rd Maha
Kumbha Abhishekam Restoration and Temple Architectural Enhancement Project.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and restore traditional Hindu temple architectural features.
Build and finish decorative temple pillars incorporating traditional Hindu architectural
designs.
Undertake restoration and repair of existing temple shrines and structures.
Construct ceremonial infrastructure including Yagasala Kundams.
Apply traditional masonry techniques using brick, lime mortar, cement render and
reinforcement materials.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with traditional Hindu temple
architectural requirements and project specifications.
Work closely with temple management and supervising Sthapathi to maintain
architectural integrity.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in stonemasonry, temple construction or heritage
restoration projects.
Experience constructing decorative pillars, relief work and architectural features.
Experience in heritage restoration, decorative stonemasonry or temple construction
projects.
Experience constructing decorative pillars, relief work and architectural features.
Experience working with lime mortar, render finishes and ornamental masonry.
Experience working on religious, heritage or culturally significant structures will be
highly regarded.
Knowledge of traditional Hindu temple architectural styles will be highly regarded.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality.
