Shri Shiva Mandir Ltd is seeking experienced Sculptors to assist with the 3rd Maha Kumbha
Abhishekam Restoration and Temple Architectural Enhancement Project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, restore and install sacred sculptural elements within the temple complex.
• Produce deity sculptures, decorative reliefs, sacred guardian figures and traditional
temple ornamentation.
• Construct and restore sculptural works including Dasa Avatar sculptures, Shiva Thandava
sculptures, Nandhi sculptures and Kosta Vigrahas.
• Complete decorative temple features including yali sculptures, floral medallions and
architectural relief works.
• Undertake traditional finishing and detailing works associated with temple restoration
projects.
• Ensure sculptural works comply with traditional Hindu temple design and iconographic
requirements.
• Work under the guidance of the supervising Sthapathi and temple management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Demonstrated experience as a sculptor, heritage artisan or temple sculptor.
• Experience producing religious, architectural or decorative sculptures.
• Experience in traditional temple restoration projects will be highly regarded.
• Experience in temple, heritage or cultural restoration projects will be highly regarded.
• Experience producing deity sculptures, relief work, ornamental carvings or architectural
sculpture.
• Ability to work from detailed design drawings and traditional design references.
• Strong artistic ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work from drawings, design references and project specifications.
