Job Title: Electrician
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all electrical components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation: Install and layout electrical wiring, conduits, cables, piping, tubing, distribution boards (DBs), switches, and lighting fixtures based on blueprints or technical diagrams.
Maintenance & Repair: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, generators, transformers, and emergency backup equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment like multimeters, voltmeters, and testers to find and fix the root cause of electrical faults.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all tasks are executed strictly in accordance with local safety standards and regulations to eliminate hazards like short circuits, overloading, or fire risks.
Teamwork: Collaborate closely with site supervisors, maintenance teams, engineers, and other trades (such as plumbers or HVAC technicians) to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma/GED with a Technical Certificate, ITI Certification, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience working as an electrician in a residential, commercial, or industrial setup.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in working with both Single-phase and Three-phase electrical systems.
Mastery of handling specialized hand tools and testing devices (wire strippers, conduit benders, ammeters).
Physical Demands: Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders or scaffolding, lift heavy equipment, and stand for extended hours.
