Job Description
1. Day-to-Day Bookkeeping & Ledger Management
Transaction recording: Tracking day-to-day accounts payable (outgoing payments) and accounts receivable (incoming payments).
Reconciliations: Matching and verifying bank statements against the general ledger.
Month-end close: Processing journal entries, booking accruals, and rolling forward files.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis Statement generation: Preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Budgeting: Assisting management with financial forecasting and analyzing spending trends.
Auditing: Reviewing financial data to identify discrepancies and supporting internal and external audits.
3. Tax Preparation & Compliance
Filings: Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns.
Regulations: Ensuring all financial documents adhere to strict local accounting standards and tax laws.
Tax planning: Identifying deductions and advising on strategies to optimize the company's or client's tax position.4.
Communication & Collaboration
Virtual meetings: Participating in team syncs and client check-ins via video conferencing (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).Data security: Adhering strictly to digital compliance rules and securing access to sensitive financial files
