Duties
Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
Administer medications accurately and safely in accordance with prescribed treatments.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalised care plans.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist with clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and other specialised treatments as required.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification recognised within the UK.
Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting is desirable.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Competence in medication administration with attention to detail and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
