Pool Lifeguard Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Pool Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool users. The successful candidate will monitor swimming activities, enforce pool rules, respond quickly to emergencies, perform water rescues when necessary, administer first aid and CPR, maintain a safe swimming environment, inspect pool equipment, and assist with general pool operations.

Required Skills:

* Valid Lifeguard Certification
* CPR and First Aid Certification
* Strong swimming and water rescue skills
* Ability to recognize and respond to emergencies
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
* Knowledge of pool safety regulations and procedures

Optional Skills (Good to Have):

* AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification
* Previous lifeguarding or aquatic facility experience
* Swimming instruction or coaching experience
* Basic pool maintenance knowledge
* Customer service experience
