Employer and Location: Enis Construction Ltd. is seeking one experienced full-time Tile Setter to complete residential and commercial projects in the city of Calgary and surrounding areas.

Position and Title: Tilesetter

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Position

Positions Available: 1

Languages: English

Education: No Degree, Certificate or Diploma.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye co-ordination.

Personal Suitability: Accurate, team player, dependable, reliable, client focus.

Terms of Employment:
• $36.00 per hour
• Full-time 35 hours per week
• 6% vacation pay

Specific Skills:
• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered;
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel;
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base;
• Align and straighten tiles;
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools;
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout;
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles;
• Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs;
• Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite;
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces and
• Install tile strips.
