About Us
Austar Toy Hauler is an innovative and growing caravan manufacturer based in Campbellfield, Victoria, specialising in the design and production of premium, custom-built toy haulers and caravans.

Due to continued business growth and high demand for their premium models, the company is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to handle all automotive electrical fit-outs, wiring, and system installations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Installing, diagnosing, and repairing 12v and 24v electrical systems in new custom caravans and toy haulers
• Running wiring harnesses and connecting solar panels, battery management systems, and inverters
• Fitting internal and external lighting, brake controllers, and entertainment systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical production drawings
• Testing all electrical components to ensure strict safety and quality standards are met prior to dispatch
• Liaising with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless vehicle assembly
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and providing effective solutions on the production line
• Maintaining accurate records of electrical components used and ensuring compliance with industry safety regulations

About You
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in automotive electricity and wiring (essential)
• Previous experience in the caravan, RV, or marine manufacturing industry is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of dual battery systems, solar installations, and auto electrical components
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to high-quality workmanship
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology, Auto Electrics, or a related field
