WE'RE HIRING LODGE MANAGER & FIELD GUIDE COUPLE

Hoedspruit, Timbavati Nature Reserve, Limpopo

An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Lodge Manager / Field Guide Couple to join a luxury safari lodge situated within the world-renowned Timbavati Nature Reserve.

LODGE MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all daily lodge operations
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and service standards
Lead, train, and motivate lodge staff
Manage stock control, procurement, budgets, and administration
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards
Coordinate maintenance and lodge improvement projects

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury safari lodge management
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent guest relations and communication abilities
Financial and administrative management experience
Computer literacy and hospitality management systems knowledge
Valid driver's licence

FIELD GUIDE

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct professional game drives and bush walks
Deliver engaging wildlife interpretations and educational experiences
Ensure guest safety at all times
Assist with guest hosting throughout their stay
Contribute to conservation and wildlife monitoring initiatives
Maintain safari vehicles and guiding equipment

Requirements:
2 3 years' guiding experience within a Big Five reserve
Nature Site Guide Qualification (NQF Aligned)
Valid First Aid Certificate
Valid PrDP
Rifle competency advantageous
Strong wildlife, ecology, and conservation knowledge
Outstanding guest interaction skills
