BOOKKEEPER REMOTE POSITION HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Initial 3-month contract with the potential for permanent employment

A well-established hospitality business is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its team.

This opportunity is ideal for a mature bookkeeping professional who takes pride in accuracy, maintains impeccable financial records, and thrives in an independent remote working environment. We are looking for someone with an "old-school" bookkeeping mindset meticulous, dependable, and committed to producing error-free work.

Key Responsibilities
Full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance
Bank reconciliations, cashbooks, and general ledger maintenance
Debtors and creditors management
Invoicing, collections, and supplier reconciliations
Monthly payroll processing and payroll administration
SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, UIF, EMP returns)
Financial reporting and reconciliations
Cash flow monitoring and budgeting support
Maintenance of organised and audit-ready financial records

Requirements
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience
Proven experience working up to Trial Balance
Payroll administration experience
Strong SARS and statutory compliance knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong Sage Accounting experience
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
