About Us
Walkers Barber Shop is a premium, traditional men's grooming establishment in Shelby Township. We believe in old-school craftsmanship, straightforward pricing, and an authentic barbershop atmosphere.

We operate strictly on a walk-in only basis. There are no complicated booking apps, no double-booked appointments, and no calendar syncing issues. Customers simply drop by, grab a seat, and are served on a first-come, first-served basis. We stay busy, and we are looking for a skilled, reliable barber to join our team and help us manage the high demand.

What You Will Do
Provide high-quality, precision men’s grooming services, including classic haircuts, skin fades, buzz cuts, and all-scissors trims.
Perform expert facial hair maintenance, including detailed beard trims, line-ups with professional trimmers, and flawless finishes.
Execute traditional straight razor hot towel shaves for both the face and the scalp.
Deliver specialty grooming for seniors and kids.
Maintain a pristine, sanitary workstation and sanitize tools between every client according to Michigan state board regulations.
Provide a welcoming, friendly, and professional experience for every client who walks through the door.

What We Are Looking For
Licensed Professional: Must hold a valid Barber or Cosmetology license in the state of Michigan.
Skilled Craftsman: Proficiency in skin fades, shear work, and traditional straight razor shaves is required. (Experience with specialized cuts like flat tops is a massive plus!)
Reliability: You show up on time and are ready to cut.
Customer-Focused: You have excellent communication skills, a steady hand, and an eye for detail.
Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced, walk-in environment and work well alongside other master barbers.

Schedule:
Tuesday Thursday: 9:30 AM 7:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM 5:00 PM
Closed Sundays and Mondays

License/Certification:
Michigan Barbering or Cosmetology License (Required)

Work Location: In person, Shelby Township, MI
