Position Overview
Yogurberry Wetherill Park is seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a genuine full-time managerial role responsible for managing the operations of a busy specialty dessert retail outlet. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operations across in-store sales, takeaway services, and online delivery platforms while maintaining exceptional customer service standards and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the overall operations of the retail outlet
• Oversee daily store operations, customer service activities, and product presentation
• Determine product mix, pricing strategies, and stock levels to maximise sales and profitability
• Develop and implement promotional and local marketing initiatives in line with franchise guidelines
• Monitor sales performance across in-store and online delivery platforms and prepare operational reports
• Analyse sales data, inventory levels, and product performance to improve operational outcomes
• Manage store budgets, expenses, and cost control measures
• Oversee stock ordering, inventory management, and supplier coordination
• Ensure high standards of customer service and effectively resolve customer enquiries and complaints
• Recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage staff across shifts
• Ensure compliance with franchise standards, food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and other relevant legislation
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, merchandising standards, and operational efficiency at all times

Essential Criteria
• Relevant qualification in Business, Management, Retail Management, or a related field and at least 2 years of relevant management experience
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced retail or food retail environment
• Proven ability to manage operations in a busy customer-focused setting
• Strong leadership, organisational, and staff management skills
• Ability to work independently and oversee compliance and operational requirements
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service focus

Highly Desirable
• Previous experience in a similar retail or dessert/food outlet management role
• Experience using POS systems, rostering, and inventory management software
• General IT and retail reporting skills
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising and product placement to maximise sales performance
• Knowledge of social media and digital marketing for retail promotion
• Ability to manage multi-channel retail operations, including takeaway and delivery services
• Strong ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced food retail environment
