About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Accountant to manage financial reporting, compliance and analysis functions within the business. This role plays a key part in supporting business performance, improving financial processes, and assisting management with informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reports
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with month end close
Assisting with cashflow
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making
Prepare cost and expense analysis reports and identify opportunities for cost control
Manage general ledger and journal entries
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensure GST compliance
Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts
Ensure compliance with relevant taxation and regulatory requirements
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
Liaise with external accountants, auditors as required
We are looking for a tertiary qualified accounting professional
self-driven and able to manage multiple tasks and business entities
with excellent attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
with good analytical and problem-solving skills
with verified 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
