FOOD & BEVERAGE DIRECTOR
Luxury Hotel, Cape Town
We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director to lead and oversee all F&B operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars and banqueting operations, while leading a high-performing hospitality team.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all Food & Beverage outlets including banquets
• Plan, forecast and manage departmental budgets and revenue targets
• Oversee outlet managers and supervisors in daily operations
• Develop innovative menus and dining concepts with culinary teams
• Monitor guest satisfaction and service standards
• Implement cost control strategies to maximise profitability
• Organise promotions, food festivals and guest loyalty initiatives
• Analyse monthly profit & loss reports and take corrective action where needed
• Lead recruitment, training and performance management of F&B teams
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate and individual guests
• Ensure compliance with operational, health and safety standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality
Requirements
Experience in luxury hotel or hospitality environments
Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations and service standards
Experience managing multiple outlets and banqueting operations
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong financial and budgeting skills
Professional guest engagement and communication abilities
Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous)
