Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of hands-on experience managing IT projects end-to-end, is well-versed in Agile methodologies, and possesses strong stakeholder management, client-facing, and cross-functional collaboration skills. This role demands a strategic thinker who can bridge business goals with technical execution while working closely with leadership, development teams, and external clients. A forward-thinking mindset with exposure to AI-powered tools for smarter project delivery is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
Own end-to-end IT project delivery from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with business objectives.
Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans, status reports, RAID logs, and retrospectives.

Agile & SDLC Management
Drive Agile ceremonies sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to manage the product backlog and ensure sprint goals are met.
Apply deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to guide teams through design, development, QA, UAT, and deployment phases.
Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes to increase team velocity and quality outcomes.

Stakeholder & Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients managing expectations, communicating project status, and facilitating executive reviews.
Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients at all levels.
Present project updates, milestones, escalations, and risks to senior leadership and C-suite as required.
Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering meetings with clients and business teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams including frontend, backend, DevOps, QA, UX/UI, data, and business analysts.
Align technical teams with business priorities, ensuring clarity on deliverables and accountability.
Collaborate with vendors, third-party partners, and offshore teams where applicable.

Technology Oversight
Maintain high-level knowledge of frontend, backend, and DevOps technologies to facilitate informed project decisions and meaningful technical discussions.
Support architecture reviews, sprint demos, and technology evaluations from a project management lens.
Leverage project management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, etc.) to manage and track project health.

Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in IT Project Management with a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade projects.
Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodology; certified PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP preferred.
Deep understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles with direct interaction at leadership and executive levels.
Experience managing cross-functional teams across geographically distributed locations.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Technical Knowledge (High-Level)
Frontend Technologies: Awareness of modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js; understanding of UI/UX principles.
Backend Technologies: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET ecosystems.
DevOps Practices: Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Databases: Basic understanding of relational (SQL) and NoSQL database concepts.

AI Exposure & Intelligent Project Management

AI for Project Planning & Execution
Use AI-assisted project management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Notion AI, ClickUp AI) to automate status reporting, sprint summaries, and meeting notes.
Leverage AI tools to generate and refine project plans, WBS (Work Breakdown Structures), and risk registers based on project parameters.
Apply predictive analytics and AI-driven dashboards to forecast project timelines, resource bottlenecks, and delivery risks proactively.

AI for Communication & Documentation
Utilize AI writing assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to draft stakeholder communications, executive summaries, project charters, and SOW documents efficiently.
Automate the generation of meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up trackers using AI transcription and summarization tools (e.g., Otter.ai, Fireflies, Microsoft Teams Copilot).
Use AI to translate complex technical documentation into business-friendly language for leadership and client presentations.

AI for Risk & Decision Support
Apply AI-based sentiment analysis and feedback tools to gauge team health, client satisfaction, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Use AI-powered JIRA plugins or project intelligence tools to detect sprint anomalies, scope creep risks, and team velocity patterns.
Leverage AI models to simulate project scenarios, enabling data-driven decision-making on trade-offs related to scope, schedule, and budget.

AI Mindset & Continuous Learning
Stay current on emerging AI tools and trends relevant to IT project delivery, and champion their adoption within the team.
Promote an AI-augmented culture within project teams encouraging use of Copilots, automation, and intelligent workflows to reduce manual overhead.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on projects that involve AI/ML components, with a working understanding of AI model development cycles and considerations.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation or product engineering projects.
Prior experience working in an IT services, consulting, or product company environment.
Exposure to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or hybrid project management methodologies.
Strong stakeholder negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with resource planning, budget management, and P&L accountability.
Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI, Otter.ai, etc.) in a professional project management context.
Familiarity with AI/ML project delivery lifecycles and working alongside data science or AI engineering teams.
