Restaurant Manager
Full-Time (38 ordinary hours per week)
SALARY $77,000 per annum (base salary) + Superannuation
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the business to ensure efficient service delivery, high-quality food standards, and strong customer satisfaction outcomes.
DUTIES
This position’s duties include but not limited to:
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant across dine-in, takeaway and off-premise service channels to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Supervising and coordinating both front-of-house and kitchen teams, ensuring effective communication and workflow between service and food preparation areas
• Planning and organising staff rosters, managing staffing levels, and overseeing recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of employees
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations, including maintaining operational standards in line with relevant legislation
• Monitoring service quality and customer experience across lunch and dinner services, ensuring consistency in food presentation and service standards
• Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints, and implementing service improvement measures where required
• Managing inventory control, stock ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure adequate supply of food and beverage items
• Assisting in the implementation of menus and operational procedures to support the business’s evolving service offerings
• Monitoring financial performance, including labour costs, payroll processes, and daily operational reporting, to support cost control and business profitability
• Maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the business meets its commercial and service objectives
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Diploma degree or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or relevant field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role
• Strong leadership and staff management capabilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Solid understanding of hospitality operations, workflow coordination, and service delivery
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
