JMTC Enterprises Pty Ltd, trading as Anar Charcoal Chicken, is a well-established and growing quick-service food business specialising in charcoal BBQ chicken, wraps, and fresh takeaway meals.
The business operates across two locations (Croydon Park and Homebush) and has built a strong reputation for high-quality food, efficient service, and consistent customer satisfaction.
With increasing customer demand across both in-store and online ordering platforms, the business is seeking to appoint a full-time Retail Manager to oversee operations at its Croydon Park location and support overall business performance.

Position Overview
This is a genuine full-time managerial position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy retail food outlet within a multi-site business.
The role requires a capable and experienced manager to ensure smooth operations across dine-in, takeaway, and delivery channels, maintain high service standards, and support continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, direct, control, and coordinate the overall operations of the retail outlet
• Oversee daily service operations including takeaway and online delivery orders
• Determine product mix, pricing, and stock levels to optimise sales and profitability
• Develop and implement promotional and marketing strategies, including local store initiatives
• Monitor sales performance across in-store and online platforms and prepare operational reports
• Manage store budgets, expenses, and cost control measures
• Oversee inventory management, stock ordering, and supplier coordination
• Ensure high standards of customer service and manage escalated customer enquiries
• Recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage staff across shifts
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and operational efficiency

Essential Criteria
• Relevant qualification in Business, Management, or a related field and/or at least 3 years of relevant management experience
• Demonstrated experience in a retail or hospitality management role
• Proven ability to manage operations in a fast-paced food service environment
• Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills
• Sound financial management, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus

Highly Desirable
• Experience managing a takeaway or quick-service restaurant (e.g. charcoal chicken, wraps, or similar food outlet)
• Experience using online delivery platforms and apps (e.g. Uber Eats, Menulog, DoorDash)
• Familiarity with POS systems, rostering, and inventory management software
• Ability to manage multi-channel operations (in-store, takeaway, and online orders)
• Strong ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-volume environment
