Full-time Supply and Distribution Manager
Salary: $77,854 + Superannuation
Minihaha & Hiawatha is a well-established Australian business specialising in the design, import, and distribution of high-quality children’s apparel and products. With a strong presence in both wholesale and retail markets, the company operates a fast-paced warehouse and distribution centre to support national demand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all incoming and outgoing warehouse operations, including receipt of overseas shipments and seasonal stock
• Develop and implement purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies
• Monitor and maintain inventory systems to ensure optimal stock levels and accuracy
• Plan and manage seasonal dispatch and high-volume order fulfilment
• Supervise, train, and coordinate warehouse staff including seasonal employees
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently
• Liaise with freight providers, logistics partners, and couriers
• Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity
• Provide customer service support for wholesale and retail clients
Skills & Experience Required:
• Bachelor or higher qualification is mandatory
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management
• Demonstrated at least 1 year of experience in inventory control, stock planning, and warehouse management systems
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate teams, including training and managing casual or seasonal staff
• Experience in handling high-volume stock movements, including receiving and dispatching goods is mandatory
• Strong understanding of logistics coordination, including working with freight providers and transport partners is essential
• Ability to analyse operational workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage day-to-day operational challenges independently
• Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment
