Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and committed Cleaner to ensure that our properties remain clean and tidy, prolonging their usability.
Main duties
• Cleaning and sanitising assigned areas (e.g. vacant HMO bedrooms, communal spaces, bathrooms, and office spaces).
• Sweep/hoover and mop floors
• Empty bins and replace bin bags
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean windows and mirrors
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed
• Carpet cleaning
• Following established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Not an exhaustive list of tasks.
Experience
• Experience servicing HMO properties (strongly preferred)
• Previous cleaning experience in similar environments
Essential
! MUST DRIVE & HAVE ACCESS TO OWN CAR
• Own vehicle must be insured with business insurance
• Ideally on DBS update service (to start immediately)
• Willingness to travel to our properties across Nottinghamshire: Nottingham, Mansfield, Woodhouse, Ashfield (mileage paid).
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift and clean for extended periods.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills, plus ability to work independently when required.
• Time management and reporting of work completed.
Desirable
• COSHH training (but not essential).
