• With experience or knowledge in estimating / costing / quantity take-off
• Proficient in MS Excel and reading plans
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Experience in construction or engineering projects is an advantage
• Willing to undergo factory training in China

Responsibilities:
Basic Role
The Design Engineer (Estimator) is responsible for translating design concepts into accurate cost estimates and technical proposals.

He ensures that projects are:
•Cost-efficient
•Technically feasible
•Competitive for closing

This role connects design, engineering, and sales.
Duties & Responsibilities (D&R)
A. Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-Off
1. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and project requirements.
2. Perform quantity take-offs for lighting fixtures, wiring, and accessories.
3. Compute total project cost including materials, labor, and overhead.

B. Technical Review & Coordination
1. Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
2. Coordinate with Design Team and Sales for clarification of project scope.
3. Identify potential cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.

C. Proposal Preparation
1. Prepare cost breakdown and pricing for client proposals.
2. Assist in preparing technical and commercial submissions.
3. Ensure timely submission of estimates and proposals.

D. Supplier Coordination
1. Request quotations from suppliers and evaluate pricing.
2. Compare materials and recommend best value options.
3. Monitor price changes and update estimates accordingly.

E. Project Support
1. Provide cost updates during project implementation if needed.
2. Assist Project Team in resolving cost-related issues.

Salary Range: P25,000 to P40,000
