Position Title: Full-time Production Manager
Salary: $80,000 + Superannuation
Evexis Group is a leading Australian company specialising in exhibition displays, brand activations and custom retail and office fit-outs, delivering innovative projects from concept through to completion. Evexis Group is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Production Manager to join our team on immediate basis.
Tasks include:
• Planning details of production activities for custom exhibition stands, including output quality and quantity, cost estimates, timelines and labour requirements, while overseeing installation to meet deadlines and standards.
• Directing the end-to-end manufacturing process for exhibition stands, coordinating with cabinet makers, tradespeople, factory hands and warehouse staff to ensure precise fabrication, assembly and onsite installation align with client specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Organising logistics and freight arrangements for international and domestic exhibition installation, including coordinating transportation, customs compliance, delivery schedules and warehouse operations to minimize delays and costs.
• Controlling the operations of the production plant and quality procedures by planning maintenance, designating operating hours, and ensure supply of parts, tools and materials for manufacturing processes.
• Monitoring production output, costs, and resource allocation for international and domestic exhibitions, adjusting processes to minimize costs and optimize efficiency.
• Discussing production matters, including industry trends, updates on innovative manufacturing techniques, site specific improvements with senior management.
• Directing research into production methods for exhibition displays, recommending and implementing initiatives
• Controlling the preparation of production records and reports to track manufacturing progress and outcomes for custom projects.
• Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements across the production teams.
• Establishing and managing production budgets, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skill level required:
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Production Manager, preferably in exhibition display production industry
• Strong leadership, organisational and operational planning skills
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems and workplace health and safety requirements
• Strong production planning and operational management capability
• Ability to lead and supervise manufacturing teams
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to improve efficiency and productivity within manufacturing processes
• Strong communication and team coordination abilities
