Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan and design electrical systems for residential and commercial construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems in accordance with project specifications and Australian standards.
• Determine the appropriate configuration and layout of electrical circuits, switchboards, transformers, circuit breakers, cabling, and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation within building environments.
• Interpret technical drawings, project plans, and regulatory requirements to ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate and manage resources, materials, and subcontractors involved in electrical installations across multiple construction sites to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Develop installation schedules for electrical systems, including switchgear, cabling, and fittings, in line with overall construction timelines and project milestones.
• Supervise on-site electrical works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimise electrical system performance within construction projects.
• Ensure all electrical systems and installations adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and sustainable building practices.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
• A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Electrical Engineer.
• At least 2 to 3 Years of professional experience required in relevant field.
