Position Title: Full-time Fitter (General)
Salary: AUD $76,515 + Superannuation

Usko Pty Ltd, a leading manufacturer specialising in caravans, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter (General) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining mechanical components used in caravan production. This role requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components and structures used in caravan manufacturing.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment to fit and align parts.
• Inspect components for accuracy, quality, and proper fit prior to installation.
• Perform adjustments, fault-finding, and basic repairs on mechanical assemblies.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members across production to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Certificate in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in a fitting, mechanical assembly, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools in a workshop setting.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
