Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

PANDHER BROTHERS PTY LTD is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to
join the kitchen team at our motel-based restaurant in Dowerin, Western
Australia. The restaurant provides dining services to motel guests and
visiting customers and requires a motivated professional capable of
managing kitchen operations and maintaining high food quality standards.

This is a full-time position offering a salary of $80,000 per annum plus
superannuation.

Key responsibilities include:
• Planning menus in consultation with management, taking into account
seasonal availability and guest preferences.
• Estimating food and labour costs and determining production schedules.
• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard for motel
guests and restaurant patrons.
• Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Supervising and coordinating kitchen staff including cooks and
kitchenhands.
• Ordering and managing inventory of food supplies and kitchen materials.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and
safety regulations.
• Inspecting food ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring equipment is properly used
and maintained.
• Assisting with the development of new menu items and improving existing
recipes.
• Coordinating kitchen operations to ensure efficient and timely meal
service.

Essential requirements:

Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery III, IV and Diploma
Minimum two years of experience working as a Chef
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to supervise kitchen staff and manage workflow efficiently
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
