Job Title: IT Technician (Field & Support Services)
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable IT Technician to provide hands-on technical support across a variety of environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in break-fix services, hardware installations, and on-site IT support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform break-fix support for desktops, laptops, printers, POS systems, and network devices
Provide on-site and remote IT support to clients
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
Handle IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities
Support network devices including routers, switches, and access points
Perform cabling and basic infrastructure setup (Cat5e/Cat6)
Diagnose technical issues and ensure first-time resolution whenever possible
Maintain proper documentation of service activities and reports
Coordinate with dispatch/team for service updates and escalations
Required Skills & Qualifications
1 3+ years of experience in IT support or field services
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, and networking basics
Experience with break-fix and on-site support environments
Familiarity with POS systems, printers, and enterprise IT equipment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
Experience with multi-site deployments or retail/banking environments
Knowledge of ticketing systems and SLA-based support
