Barber (38 hours per week -FULL TIME)
2 X Full Time Positions Available
Location: Midland WA- 6056

Barber Industries Midland Pty Ltd requires highly skilled Barbers (two Positions available) at our business at Shop 105a, 274 Great Eastern Highway, inside Midland Gate Shopping Centre WA 6056. minimum than 1-2 years of experience. You will be reporting directly to the Director of the business; however, you will also display strong leadership skills for effective operation and ability to barber skills and working independently.

Annual salary $77000 to $90000 Plus Super

Duties and responsibilities:
• Welcome clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.
• Trimming, cutting, shaping and tapering hair using scissors, razors, clippers and combs according to client’s instructions
• Shave, trim and shaping clients’ beards and moustaches.
• Wash and conditioning clients’ hair.
• Provide hair treatments and colouring.
• Ensure that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitised after each use.
• Supervise apprentices and trainees.
• Provide face, scalp and neck massages.
• Provide hairstyle suggestions to clients.
• Train new staff on barber skills
Skills and knowledge required
• Certificate III in Hair Dressing or equivalent qualification
• Effective communication skills
• Innovative and creative about hair styles and hair cuttings
