Position Title: Full-time Accountant

Annual Salary: A$ 80,000 + Superannuation

Introduction:
Proctor Major & Co has the expertise and experience to offer a full range of accounting and business advisory services. We are looking for an experienced & forward-thinking full-time Accountant for an immediate start.
Duties:

• Preparation of annual financial reports including the profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Prepare BASs as well as reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.
• Monitor bookkeeping, assets management and budget project costing.
• Prepare month end report, manage accounts receivable/ payable.
• Develop, implement, and keep updated all financial policies and procedures including internal control procedures.
• Project costing and capital asset evaluation.
• Ensure the statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
• Analyse and report on company income and expenditure.
• Providing assurance about the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.

Skills and Experience:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
• In depth experience in MYOB and other accounting software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Good team player.
