HGV Class 2 Driver / Loader Pendle Region

We are recruiting experienced LGV C (Class 2) Refuse Driver / Loaders for our local authority client, operating refuse and recycling collection vehicles throughout the Pendle region.

As an HGV Class 2 Driver / Loader, you will:

• Drive refuse and recycling vehicles on planned local collection routes
• Carry out collections of general refuse, recycling and green waste
• Work as part of a small crew, supporting and directing loaders as needed
• Be prepared to work off the vehicle loading bins and assisting the crew to complete the round
• Follow all health & safety, road safety and council procedures at all times

What we’re looking for:
• Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience on a refuse/recycling wagon preferred
• Physically fit, happy to load as well as drive in a fast paced outdoor role
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player
