Irene, Centurion: COMMERCIAL LAW ATTORNEY
Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable and professional
-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans & English a must (Full proficiency, verbal and written - Afr & Eng client base)
-Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree completed, and admitted as an Attorney a must
-Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in Commercial Law / B.Com Finance Degree advantageous
-Minimum 4 years post admission experience in Commercial Law and Corporate Law a must, including mergers and acquisitions (Commercial Law specialisation None Litigious)
-Fully independently functional
-Strong contract drafting skills essential
-Sound knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A’s, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Deal Structuring, Transactional Tax etc.
-Business intelligence and grasp of commercial transactions
-Computer literate in MS Office
-Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
-Stable employment record and contactable references
-Seeking long term career opportunity with firm
-Currently residing within daily commuting distance
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Handling of Commercial and Corporate Law matters for law firm
-Practical application of prevailing corporate and commercial law
-Drafting legal contracts, documents and client liaison
-General attorney duties
Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience
