Position: Retail Manager (Full-Time)

Location: Rhodes, NSW 2138
Salary: $75,000 $78,000 + Superannuation (commensurate with experience)
Tropical Juice Pty Ltd operates two high-performing Top Juice franchise stores, offering fresh juices, smoothies, yoghurt-based products, salads, cold sandwiches, wraps, and desserts. Due to business growth and operational expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Manager to oversee and manage store operations across our locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the overall operations of the retail stores
• Determine product mix and stock levels of fresh and packaged goods, including juices, fruits, yoghurt, salads, sandwiches, and wraps, ensuring optimal stock turnover and minimal wastage
• Formulate and implement purchasing, pricing and promotional policies in line with franchise requirements and business objectives
• Monitor sales performance and financial transactions, and prepare operational and financial reports for management
• Maintain records of stock levels, sales, and financial performance, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Control budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation to achieve profitability targets
• Ensure high standards of store presentation, merchandising and customer service are consistently maintained
• Promote and advertise products and services in accordance with brand and marketing guidelines
• Recruit, train, supervise and performance-manage retail staff, including rostering and workforce planning
• Provide leadership and direction to staff to ensure efficient store operations in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS), food safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Liaise with suppliers, stakeholders and management to ensure smooth business operations
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Essential Requirements
• At least 2 3 years of relevant experience in a Retail Manager or similar role
• Relevant qualification in Retail, Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven ability to manage retail operations in a fast-paced food or hospitality environment
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Experience in stock control, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Good level of English communication skills
Highly Preferred Criteria
• Experience in juice bars, cafés, or fresh food retail environments
• Knowledge of fresh produce handling, food safety, and health-focused products

• Must be available to work at Rhodes and may have to travel to Ryde from time to time.
