Whb Business Limited is seeking a skilled Logistics / Operations Manager to oversee and manage the company’s freight and delivery operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of logistics activities, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilitie
Plan, organise, and supervise daily logistics and delivery operations.
Manage subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Monitor operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer service standards.
Ensure compliance with UK transport regulations and health and safety requirements.
Coordinate vehicle usage, delivery scheduling, and route optimisation to maximise efficiency.
Maintain effective communication with drivers, subcontractors, and operational partners.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support business scalability.
Maintain accurate records and operational reports.
Requirements
Previous experience in logistics, transport, or operations management.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Good understanding of UK transport regulations and health and safety standards.
Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate logistics operations effectively.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
