Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
LOCATION: Elsinboro Township School in Salem, NJ
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $15.92 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:00 am and 3:00 - 6:00 pm

Healthy Kids Programs offers a childcare benefit for eligible employees to support work-life balance. This benefit is available for school-age children (ages 5 13) enrolled in our program on the days you are working with us.

The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:

Leading hands-on activities from the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group projects, along with supporting homework completion.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, clean, and engaging environment while serving as a positive role model for children in the program.
Arriving on time, ready to work, and staying until the last child has been dismissed.
Communicating with parents and family members daily through the Playground App.
Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the rules of the host school.
Some positions may also include management responsibilities such as keeping accurate attendance records, handling registration, and assisting with staffing.

Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
