Position Title: Full-time Telecommunications Technologist
Annual Salary: A$ 78,000 + Superannuation
Introduction:
Adio Desk Pty Ltd, a regional Victoria based company with a strong national presence, is seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunication Technologist to join our expanding team. Specializing in end-to-end infrastructure and network deployment services across Australia, Adio Desk has developed extensive expertise in advanced telecommunications technologies, including Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC), Fibre to the Curb (FTTC), Fibre to the Node (FTTN), and Fibre to the Premises (FTTP). With capabilities spanning the full project lifecycle, from construction, installation, testing, and commissioning through to ongoing maintenance, Adio Desk delivers telecommunications infrastructure projects with efficiency, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Duties:
• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair telecommunications systems including electromagnetic transmission technologies
• Set up, configure and integrate telecommunications networks with computer systems
• Maintain detailed asset registers covering equipment, materials, instruments, and spare parts
• Ensure all documentation relating to communication protocols, operational procedures, regulatory requirements and quality standards is kept up to date
• Deliver technical guidance and support while overseeing the functionality, reliability and performance of complex telecommunications infrastructure
• Contribute to the planning, design and expansion of customer access networks and telecommunications infrastructure projects
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to coordinate project activities and ensure timely delivery of services
• Conduct system testing and validation following installation or repair to confirm optimal functionality
• Ensure all telecommunications activities comply with industry regulations, safety requirements, and internal quality assurance standards.
Skills and Experience:
• Minimum an Advance Diploma specialized in Telecommunication Network engineering
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
• In depth experience in NBN (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial and Fiber to the curb).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively & prioritize accordingly.
• Able to perform under pressure.
• Good team player.
