ABOUT THE ROLE:
A well-established and reputable real estate company is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support the smooth functioning of the business. This role requires a highly organised professional with strong administrative, people management, and compliance skills, ideally gained within the real estate or professional services sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Contribute to the planning, review, and improvement of office services, systems, and operational standards
2) Allocate and manage human resources, office space, and equipment to ensure efficient operations
3) Assign administrative duties and monitor staff performance to ensure productivity and service quality
4) Manage office records, documentation, and basic accounts administration, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
5) Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained and readily available
6) Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and maintain a safe working environment
7) Ensure all office operations comply with relevant government legislation, industry regulations, policies, and procedures
8) Coordinate personnel activities, including recruitment support, onboarding, training coordination, payroll assistance, performance management, and staff supervision
9) Act as a key liaison between management, staff, and external service providers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1) Minimum 3 4 years of relevant experience in office management, administration management, or a similar role
2) Previous experience within the real estate industry or professional services environment will be highly regarded
3) Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
4) Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
5) Sound understanding of office compliance, WHS, and administrative procedures
Education Requirements:
Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, OR
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with business-related subjects
