Job Description
Responsibilities:
Expertise in company financial activities and will also be responsible for overseeing the company’s finance, commercial, and HR functions for Malaysia operations.
Overall responsibility and coordination of finance and accounting (including insurance), controlling & reporting, HR administration, purchasing and logistics
Strategic partner (m/f/d) to the management in all commercial matters
Monitoring and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements and reporting to company management
Ongoing financial planning, profitability analysis and cost budget monitoring
Further development of controlling processes and optimisation of business processes
Leadership, motivation and further development of your team
Supporting management in the strategic planning and further development of the company, often through the analysis of balance sheet figures
Contact person for controlling DTP GER, auditors, tax advisors and tax authorities, etc.
Supporting sales with product calculations
Requirements:
Degree in business administration or comparable qualification
Several years of management and professional experience in finance and controlling, ideally in medium-sized companies
Empathetic, assertive leadership personality with a hands-on mentality
High affinity for process optimisation and enjoyment of working in medium-sized structures
Understanding of work processes within a medium-sized manufacturing company
Proven success in supporting ERP, BI or IT projects
Experience in negotiating with customers, suppliers and other external partners
Business fluent English
Entrepreneurial approach, hands-on mentality, strong communication and leadership skills
Highly value-oriented, employee-focused and participatory management style
Strong analytical thinking skills, accounting expertise and structured approach to work
Personal integrity, reliability and sense of responsibility
