Position: Motel Managing Supervisor-Senior Supervisor
Wages: CAD$28.00-37.00/hour (depending on experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of motel staff including front desk and housekeeping staff
• Act as manager in the absence of management
• Coordinate work between departments to ensure smooth operation and time and cost efficiency
• Prepare and monitor staff work schedules and approve final shift changes
• Participate in hiring and oversee overall training and ongoing guidance for employees
• Ensure daily operational procedures are followed
• Assist manage in monitoring inventory levels and reporting supply needs
• Prepare operational reports for review by the manager/owner
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace policies
• Oversee daily cash handling procedures and report discrepancies
• Act on-site lead staff during assigned shifts
• Provide recommendations to management regarding staffing and operational improvements

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the accommodation industry required
• Completion of college courses in hospitality, hotel or motel management, or a related field is an asset
