Job Description

Responsibilities will include the following:

Prepare and file all required tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensure full compliance with BIR regulations and other government requirements.
Monitor the tax filing and payment calendar to avoid penalties for late submissions.
Maintain organized tax records and supporting documents for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare financial reports including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and other accounts.
Maintain and update the company’s general ledger and external books in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate needs to be:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Must have at least 3 years of extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or external bookkeeping.
Thorough understanding of Philippine taxation, PFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience working with external auditors and personally handling BIR submissions is an advantage.
Proficient in various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and integrity.
Willing to work onsite in BGC.
