Job Description
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Monitor and control product quality throughout the manufacturing process by utilizing ERP, MES, QRQC, ISIR, and VAATZ systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and customer field claims, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and reduce recurring quality issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
• Develop, review, and maintain quality inspection standards, control plans, and test procedures for automotive components including plastic fuel tank systems and battery pack-related structures.
• Perform production line audits and quality inspections to identify process deviations, material defects, and equipment-related quality risks, and recommend corrective improvements.
• Analyze monthly defect data, supplier quality performance, and customer field claim reports to identify trends and improve overall manufacturing quality performance.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change management by reviewing design specifications, conducting sample inspections, and verifying product conformity before mass production.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection records, audit reports, and system data to ensure traceability and compliance with customer and industry requirements.
• Provide training and technical guidance to quality inspectors and production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and system usage to strengthen overall quality control capability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing quality control, or related functions within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
