Job Description
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Manage and optimize automated production engineering processes for automotive components, including suspension modules, fuel tank modules, pedal modules, eco modules, and Battery Pack Case (BPC) systems.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, including PLC systems, robotic systems (e.g., Fanuc), drive systems, and inspection systems such as Keyence.
• Utilize ERP Production Management Software to monitor production data, analyze operational performance, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic and automated machinery to minimize downtime and ensure stable manufacturing operations.
• Design, code, test, and implement configuration changes to production engineering software applications and PLC programs to meet functional and technical requirements.
• Develop production system documentation, including process flow diagrams, technical specifications, and engineering reports, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze equipment performance metrics (e.g., MTTR, MTBF) and formulate equipment improvement plans to increase operational efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, maintenance, and external equipment vendors, to resolve complex engineering issues and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in automated production engineering, PLC programming, robotic systems integration, and ERP-based production management within an automotive parts manufacturing environment.
