Management Consultant
Full-time 38 hours per week
SALARY $90,000 plus Superannuation per year
DUTIES
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the client’s (business owners/startups) current business model, market positioning, and overall strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear and achievable short-term and long- term goals.
• Identify inefficiencies in current operations and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Assist in allocating resources effectively, ensuring that the startup's budget aligns with strategic priorities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitors to provide the startup with relevant market insights.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and improve product/service offerings.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition during the transformation process.
• Communicate changes transparently to internal and external stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment.
• Evaluate team dynamics and provide recommendations for building a strong and cohesive organizational culture.
• Advise on talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Develop financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions on the startup's financial health.
• Evaluate the return on investment for various initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Evaluate the startup's current technological infrastructure and recommend upgrades or new solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Guide the integration of digital technologies to improve processes and customer experience.
• Identify potential risks associated with the transformation process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Ensure that the startup adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards throughout the transformation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track the progress of the transformation and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the effectiveness of the transformation initiatives.
• Identify skill gaps within the organization and recommend training programs to enhance the capabilities of the workforce.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to empower internal teams to sustain the positive changes over the long term.
Additional Duties
• Follow business policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized, up to date, and moving forward toward case close goal dates and other deadlines.
• Collaborate with the CEO to effectively close files in a timely manner.
• Contribute to developing our growing business by creating processes and systems that improve internal business efficiencies.
• Be willing to perform other duties as necessary to accomplish our mission and goals
REQUIRED SKILLS
Academic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (ie. business management, Economics, Finance etc.)
• Has at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Be able to demonstrate proof of excellent experience with management of a business.
• Be able to demonstrate proof of excellent project management experience.
Professional Experience:
• Proven organizational and leadership skills in diverse industries.
• Strategic business planning experience (financial and operations).
• Have helped clients or customers create business plans.
• Have helped clients or customers create policies, systems, and procedures.
• Have coached, advised, or guided business owners.
