Fleet Manager (FULL TIME)
Location: Sydney

R Polites Transport Pty Ltd requires a qualified Fleet Manager for its transport operation in Sydney Metropolitan Area.

The successful candidate Must be willing to travel interstate and regional area of Australia with short notice from the management.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Selecting and procuring vehicles (purchasing or leasing) based on fleet needs and budget.
• Scheduling and overseeing regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Ensuring all vehicles are registered, licensed, insured and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Managing the process of selling or retiring vehicles when they are no longer needed
• Supervise fleet personal, incl. interviewing prospective employees, providing and/or recommending training, coordinating, scheduling and assigning work and performance monitoring.
• Managing the fleet budget, tracking expenses, and providing regular reports to management.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce overall fleet operating costs through various initiatives.
• Review maintenance invoices to ensure that proper maintenance was performed
• Keep employees informed about their fleet programmes and progress and ensure compliance with OH&S Regulation.

Annual salary $90,000 to 110,000 plus super
The successful candidate must have
• A valid HC driving licence
• Tertiary qualification in Business or Management
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Minimum one year of work experience in a similar role
• Excellent vehicle management and organizational skills
• Strong communications and exceptional interpersonal skills
